On the Water

Looe is a brilliant place to explore and enjoy from the water. Seaside water sports are a great choice and you can also discover the river estuary which opens out into Looe Bay.

As an active fishing port famous for its quality day caught fish, our fishing is world class and there are many boats available for private charter along the quay.

Looe is also home to the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain. The club promotes shark conservation through a strict policy of Catch & Release and the recent introduction of the British Measured & Released Record listing. This provides an amazing opportunity for visitors to find out more about this programme and this fascinating species.
