Bodmin is the former county town of Cornwall and was the only Cornish town to be recorded in the Domesday Book.  It is roughly half an hour's drive from Looe and offers a change from Looe's sea air being just 5 miles from the edge of Bodmin Moor.

Bodmin Moor homes 200 square kilometres of granite moorland, grassland and heather wilds to discover as well as being home the mysterious beast of Bodmin.

Bodmin has many fantastic attractions including the restored Bodmin & Wenford Railway station with steam rides, a military museum and who could forget the jail.
